Kim beta-range SSVEP (Figshare 28806815) is the release of a 40-target SSVEP speller study with its stimuli in the beta range, described by Heegyu Kim, Kyungho Won, Minkyu Ahn and Sung Chan Jun in Scientific Data (2025) and deposited by Heegyu Kim under CC BY 4.0. Besides the task recordings, the record holds rest and questionnaire files; only the 40 task files are used here.
Also known asKim2025BetaRange · Figshare 28806815 · doi:10.1038/s41597-025-06032-2
Forty-target SSVEP speller selection with stimuli from 14.0 to 21.8 Hz, six blocks per person on one day.
All 40 task files passed their MD5 checks; the rest and questionnaire files were not acquired. The files store the targets in the order 14 + j + 0.2·i Hz, which differs from the ascending list in MOABB’s metadata, and the references follow the stored order.

Ethics and consent, as the source states them
Ethics approval: “The Institutional Review Board at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology (GIST) approved this experiment (20211201-HR-64-02-04)”
Informed consent: “all subjects were informed of all experimental procedures and signed consent forms”
The data descriptor also states: “All research data has been consented to by participants, with explicit agreement for public sharing.”
The confidentiality clause of the consent forms excludes questionnaire-related personal data; the research acquired the 40 task files only and excluded the questionnaire and rest files.
The paper’s Data availability links version 2; the research used version 3 (the latest), which adds a questionnaire. Both versions carry CC BY 4.0 in the licence field.
